Where The Mountain Meets The Moon

In school one of our teachers is reading us a read a loud book Where the Mountain Meets the Moon.
It is about a girl who's father (called Ba) tells her lots of wonderful stories.  The Girl (Minli) believes all of them.  There is one story about the old man of the moon. He lives at the top of never ending mountain, where nobody knows where it is, and The Old Man of the Moon knows everything, Minli, Ba, her mother (called Ma) and the town are very poor so Minli decides to go find the old man of the moon to ask him how he could change her fortune.  On the way she meets a dragon who can not fly.  Once was a painting and then came to life, it says that the dragon was painted standing on the ground instead of flying  in the air like most other dragons.  That dragon has never been in the air.  I think that is why he can't fly.  While that is happening Ma and Ba are looking for Minli.  On the way, they meet a man who sells gold fish he had sold one to Minli.  He said it would bring good luck.   And he was right because Minli will succeed in her quest.  I just know it.  Anyway, the goldfish man believes in Minli and he looked at Ma and Ba in a way that made them feel ashamed of themselves and made them believe in Minli too.  I think he looked at them in a "I'm disapointed in you" kind of look because he knows that forever ending mountain and the old man in the moon exist, I remember from the beginning of the story that the goldfish man had been to every river that existed to find goldfish which means he has been to the one where Never ending Mountain is.
